Anna is an endurance athlete, adventurer, and mischief maker. Named by the Guardian as one of the top female adventurers of our time, Condé Nast Traveller has recently included her in a list of the 50 most influential travelers in the world. She is the UK ambassador for Girl Guiding and has cycled over 20,000 miles in Europe and the Americas, including through all 50 states of the USA. She has also run the length of New Zealand and has a penchant for rollerblading.



 

Mark Beaumont has become a household name through his documentaries about ultra endurance and adventure. Having smashed the circumnavigation cycling World Record twice in his career, he now holds this 18,000 mile title in a time of 78 days and 14 hours, averaging 240 miles a day. His epic documentaries have taken viewers to over 100 countries, into the Arctic, the high mountains and around the Commonwealth, also surviving capsize in the mid-Atlantic.

He’s taken 125 flights in the past year to investigate the companies and entrepreneurs changing our world, recently spending time with the founders of WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google, Spotify, Xiaomi, Nest, Twitter and countless other ambitious startups from Tel Aviv to Shenzhen.



Ruby Steel is a trailblazer in inclusive design. She is also a “fixer” on the BBC2 show Big Life Fix, the show that involves a team of inventors creating new and life-changing solutions for people in need. Ruby always puts the people and their stories at the core. She is currently Senior Design Strategist at Smart Design, a design consultancy whose ethos is to design with meaning.

 With more than ten years of experience in user-centered research, co-creation, and product, service and experience design, Ruby’s passion for creating a positive impact on individuals that live with a more challenging circumstance remains unshaken.

Founder, Women in the World & Author, The Vanity Fair Diaries

Tina Brown is an award-winning journalist, editor, author, and founder of the Women in the World summits. Between 1979 and 2001, she was editor-in-chief of Tatler, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and authored the 2007 best-selling biography of the Princess of Wales, The Diana Chronicles. In 2000, she was awarded the honor of Commander of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen for her services to journalism. In 2007 she was inducted into the Magazine Editors' Hall of Fame.


In October 2008 Brown launched and edited the digital news site The Daily Beast, which won the news website of the year award in 2012 and 2013. She launched Tina Brown Live Media in 2014 to expand Women in the World internationally with summits in London and Delhi and with smaller salons throughout the United States. Last year, she published The Vanity Fair Diaries which was chosen as one of the best books of 2017 by Time, People, Amazon, The Guardian, The Economist, Entertainment Weekly, & Vogue.


Tina Brown is married to editor, publisher, and historian Sir Harold Evans and lives in New York City.
